With years of experience in the field, Tech-Com Construction Pte Ltd is able to proffer general building and carpentry services with utmost quality. Thus, on the following year, is to have its carpentry workshop. Its leader, Mr Liu Yu Xi, and his team of four believe in offering quality products and responsible services to their customers. However, Tech-Com Construction Pte Ltd’s success did not happen overnight. Mr Liu arrived in Singapore in 1995, but did not venture into business only until 2008 under his friend recommendation, as a sole proprietor. It was only in 2010, Tech-Com Construction Pte Ltd was initiated on a shoestring – a budget of just $1.00. Faced with aggressive competition and instability of economics, MrLiu strives to succeed by being above board, providing customers with honest, down to earth services and high quality goods. By closing ranks with his team of four and being involved in the business operations himself, Mr Liu and Tech-Com Construction Pte Ltd ensures that only quality goods and services are given to their customers. With good employees, comes a good company. Mr Liu always takes care of his team, giving leeway and being nice to everyone across the board, this made them as thick as thieves. By being responsible and possessing such a great team allows the company to be propelled into success as it was able to cast its net wide and garner referrals and recommendations. This allows the company to achieve a proven track record and proves itself as one of the best in the trade.

Such excellence helped Tech-Com Construction Pte Ltd achieve the much coveted Bizsafe 3 award, proving that Mr Liu cares for his team and puts safety as priority. Mr Liu is also a Good Samaritan, often making monetary donations to temples and the 2011 Singapore Cultural Society SRIWANA. All of us could take a leaf out of Mr Liu’s book, by contributing back to the society.

Mr Liu’s enterprising journey has shown us that success could only come by when one has the bravery to step out of his or her comfort zone and make his or her own initial foray. There is no guaranteed success, but without trying, you may never know if success is imminent. Despite its eminent success, Tech-Com Construction Pte Ltd does not rest on its laurels. Mr Liu remains humble and mentions that their success is just an indication that they have improved as compared to the start.
